Indices
As a particular information service to investors, Wiener Börse AG has developed 19 stock indices
which are calculated and disseminated in real time and have established themselves as standard,
tradable and replicable benchmarks for the respective markets. In addition, Wiener Börse AG
computes and publishes another stock index as well as the Blue Chip-Hedge Fund Index on behalf of
third parties (customized indices).
Computed as capitalization-weighted price indices using an enhanced free float methodology, the indices of Wiener Börse AG serve as benchmarks and as underlyings for derivative instruments as well as for the issuance of structured products (warrants, index certificates, ETFs, swaps) by banks and other institutional market participants. The indices are registered trademarks and their use in conjunction with financial products is subject to conclusion of an agreement with Wiener Börse AG prior to the issue and the payment of a license fee.
- for Austria (ATX - Austrian Traded Index, ATX Prime, ATX five, IATX - Immobilien Index and WBI - Wiener Börse Index)
- for CEE countries (CTX - Czech Traded Index, HTX - Hungarian Traded Index, PTX - Polish Traded
Index, CECE - an overall index comprising CTX, HTX and PTX, ROTX - Romanian Traded Index in Euro
and US-Dollar, RTX - Russian Traded Index, RDXEUR - Russian Depositary Index in Euro and RDXUSD -
Russian Depositary Index in US-Dollar), RDX Extended Index in Euro and US-Dollar and SRX - Serbian
Traded Index in Euro and US-Dollar
- for Central- and East european regions (CECExt and SETX in Euro and US- Dollar and NTX in Euro)
- for Non european countries (CNXEUR - Chinese Traded Index in Euro and CNXUSD in US-Dollar)
