The ERSTE-SPARINVEST KAG is the capital investment company of the Erste Bank and of the Austrian
savings banks. Today, we are responsible for a total fund volume of 28.4 billion Euros (Update:
April 2006, according to the Österreichische Kontrollbank OeKB). This is invested in 365 different
funds. With these figures, we are the second largest capital investment firm in Austria.
The fund volume is divided into 10.5 billion Euros in large scale investor funds and 17.9 billion Euros in general funds. In the segment of the private fund investors, the ERSTE-SPARINVEST continues to be the leading investment fund company with a market share of 21%. As far as large-scale investors are concerned, ERSTE-SPARINVEST KAG is the third largest company.
Our staff of 100 serves clients and handles sales in Austria and the neighbouring countries. In addition to Austria, our funds are also listed for sale in Germany, the Czech Republic and Slovakia, where we operate through the affiliated institutes of Erste Bank.
