The commitment of the highly qualified and motivated staff of the Vienna Stock Exchange is the foundation for achieving the corporate goals, and their implementation is guided by the principles of prudence, transparency and trust.
The working climate among the staff is friendly and cooperative within the company. Regular joint cultural and sports activities as well as voluntary social benefits promote a good working climate. There are many options for further education available to the staff. Cultural differences are respected and viewed as positive factor that helps to advance development in a globalized world.
The Vienna Stock Exchange supports the needy and communicates their fates internally and also in external communications. The “Wiener Börse Punsch” (our annual pre-Christmas season event) gives us a chance to raise donations. The entire proceeds of a prize draw organized jointly with a non-profit organization are donated to an aid project. The employees work voluntarily at this event.
Since May 2011, the Vienna Stock Exchange has been promoting START – a stipend program for dedicated school students from immigrant families. The Vienna Stock Exchange has assumed two patronages and supports these young people to achieve a higher education. We view this as an incentive for integration and a contribution to more tolerance in Austria.
